Esko Tops ML/WR 3-0 In Volleyball

MOOSE LAKE – The Esko Eskomos scored a big Polar League volleyball victory Tuesday night over the Moose Lake-Willow Rebels three games to none.

Esko downed the Rebels by scores of
25-10, 25-17 and 25-19. The Eskomos got a big night from Keely Deadrick with 24 set assists and six digs. Also in the kill department for the Eskomos, Lydia Pelletier had six, while Janae Beaudot added five and Kayla Handevidt had 12. Alyssa Bergstedt scored six digs, while Stephanie Bandelin had five kills. Breann Thomason added seven set assists.

For the Rebels, Sheenagh Caroline had 10 kills, two set assist and 10 digs, Miranda Jacobson had 15 set assists and Maddy Adamczak scored 16 digs. Katie Youngberg helped out with 15 digs for Moose Lake-Willow River, 1-3.

Esko improved to 5-1 and in a huge Polar League matchup, will play at Carlton Thursday night. Moose Lake-Willow River visits Floodwood on Thursday.
