Esko Handles Crosby-Ironton

The Eskomos took on Crosby-Ironton in Class AA action, with Esko coming out on top with the 64-40 victory on Tuesday night.

The Eskomos went into halftime holding a 24-16 advantage, but it was a strong second half effort that propelled them to the victory as they outscored Crosby-Ironton 40-24 en route to the 24 point victory.

Adam Trapp led the way for the Eskomos, scoring a game high 17 points. Jaxson Turner followed him with 15 points in the win. Rounding out the scoring for Esko was Isaak Blue, Alex Walther, and Bryce Bottila all with 6, Trenton Menor added 5, Carter Northey chipped in 4, and Quinn Fischer and Ryan Pantsar scored 3 and 2 points respectively.

Noah Gindorff and Evan Edmundson hit double digits for Crosby-Ironton in the loss with 12 and 10 points respectively.

The Eskomos improve to 12-2 on the season and will travel to face Polar League opponent, the Carlton Bulldogs. Crosby-Ironton drops to 10-3 with the loss.
