LCA, North Woods Advance To 7A Championship

The Lakeview Christian Academy Lions and North Woods Grizzlies will face off for the Section 7A championship on March 15th at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. Tip off will be at 7:00pm.

The Lions topped the Cook County Vikings, 71-63, on Wednesday night to advance to the Section finals. Spicer Johnson led the Lions with 23 points, while Brandn BarBee chipped in 14. Will Ramberg notched 31 points for the Vikings in the loss.

The Grizzlies find themselves in the Section finals for a fourth consecutive season after topping Deer River, 61-46. TJ Chiabotti scored 20 points in the win for the Grizzlies.

LCA and North Woods met earlier in the season with the Grizzlies victorious by a 81-61 score.
