Cromwell edges out Cook County

  The Cromwell Cards hit the road and pulled out a 3-2 victory over the Cook County Vikings in Grand Marais on Tuesday night.

Cromwell had to overcome a tough first game in which they lost 14-25 to the Vikings, but the Cards bounced back to win 14-25, 25-20, 25-13, 17-25, 15-7.

Rachel Hutar, Andrea Hakamaki and Kiera Anderson led the defensive effort for the Cards with 15, 11 and 10 digs respectively.

On offense the Cards got a strong effort from setter Allie Cahoon who finished with 10 set assists.

Jessica Berg-Collman had a big night for the Vikings with 22 set assists and 12 digs, while Linden Sutton finished with 17 kills.
