Panthers Stay Perfect

The South Ridge Panthers remained perfect Friday afternoon  in high school football action as the Panthers defeat the Cook County Vikings 20-6 in a district football match-up.

Weston Stroschein scored two touchdowns and Connor Bushbaum rushed for 226 yards including a 66 yard touchdown run to improve the Panthers to 3-0 on the season.

Stroschein rushed for one touchdown and also caught a 10 yard touchdown pass from Aaron Bennett in the victory.

South Ridge will look to move to 4-0 on Thursday when they will face Cherry in Mt. Iron while Cook County will try to pick up their first win against Silver bay on Friday.
