Lady Jacks Soccer Gets By Hibbing 2-0

The Cloquet girls soccer team edged Hibbing 2-0 on the road on Tuesday, improving their record to 6-2-1 on the season.

The lone goals of the game came on a penalty kick by Cloquet’s Jessie Ryan in the first half and an unassisted goal in the second half by the Jacks Katie Pappas to make it 2-0.

Cloquet goalie, Kaitrin Rathe, face only two shots in picking up the shutout win.

The Lumberjacks will next face Proctor in Cloquet on Thursday night. The Rails pulled an upset on Tuesday when they bashed Grand Rapids 4-0.
