Proctor Shuts Out Greenway 6-0

With 41 shots on goal, the Proctor Rails managed six goals in a 6-0 victory over the Greenway Raiders on Tuesday night in boys hockey. The Rails pumped in three goals in each of the first two periods to put the game into running time in the final stanza.

The Rails got first period goals from Justin Scanlon, Tom Rossiter and Tyler Pionk as they built a 3-0 lead. Scanlon’s goal came just 46 seconds into the period and the Rails were off and flying.

In the second period, the Rails notched goals from Lucas McCarthy, Rossiter and Ian Ecklund and the lead ballooned to 6-0.

For the game the Rails pumped 41 shots on Raider goalies Trevor Guyer and Erik Arnason, while Derek Robinson preserved the shut out with 23 saves for the Rails.
