The Proctor-Hermantown-Marshall girls hockey team has hit a mid-season slump in the last two weeks. The talented Mirage fell 4-1 last week to Cloquet-Esko-Carlton and on Tuesday night they dropped another 4-1 game, this time to Irondale.

The Mirage trailed 2-0 in the first period before Emma Stauber rammed home a goal at 16:18 to cut the lead to 2-1. However, that would be all the scoring for PHM the rest of the way.

Irondale added a goal by Megan Lorance in the second period and then a Gina McDonald tally in the third period in picking up the win.

Mirage goalie Courtney Simmons made 18 saves on 22 shots, while Hanna Tuomi finished with 13 saves for Irondale.
