FDL stops Bluestreaks

Trevonte Brown and Jordan Diver connected on twelve three-pointers Friday night as the Ogichida knocked off the Chisholm Bluestreaks in a sectional battle 93-71 at Fond du Lac High School.

Both Brown and Diver hit on six three-pointers and Diver added another 20 points to that total for a game high of 38 as Fond du Lac picked up a big home win.

FDL jumped out to a 48-35 lead at half time then continued to roll as the Ogichida went on to the 22 point win as the Ogichida won their third consecutive contest Friday night.

Trevonte Brown finished with 18 points, Cameron Thompson and DaVonte Williamson each added 12 points, Dexter Dillile ended with 6, Bruce Martineau added 5 and Lester Williamson closed the scoring with 2 points.

The Bluestreaks were led by Aaron Musburger who scored 30 points for Chisholm, Mitch Rusten scored 13, while Austin Campbell ended with 11, Parker Cicmil added 5 points in the loss.

The Ogichida improve to 13-4 overall and they will take on Minneapolis Washburn on Saturday afternoon in the twin cities.

Chisholm falls to 11-6 on the season and they will face Eveleth-Gilbert on Monday night at Eveleth High School.
