Carlton Sneeks Past McGregor

The Carlton Bulldogs picked up their second win of the season Friday night as the Bulldogs picked up a 64-48 Polar League Conference victory at McGregor High School.

The Bulldogs who finished sixth in the St. Johns Prep Holiday Tournament were seeking to pick up their second win of the season as the Bulldogs will move into a brutal stretch of games for a very young Carlton Squad.

The Bulldogs will face Wrenshall, Barnum, Esko, and Fond du Lac all within the next ten days. The Wrens have the worst record among the four with a 5-4 and are coming off three straight losses, but had beat the Bulldogs earlier this season by 36 points.

The Barnum Bombers, Esko Eskomos, and the Ogichida of FDL have a combined record of 27-3 overall. The Bulldogs are 1-3 in conference play and are 1-4 in sectional action.
