In a game that featured a combined 26 strikeouts, Albrook came out on the short end of the pitchers duel, losing 6-2 to Cook-Orr at home on Tuesday.

Bryce Karppinen struck out seven Cook-Orr batters, Cody Anderson struck out five giving AlBrook a total of 12 strikeouts on the night. Unfortunately, the Falcons struck out 14 times themselves and had trouble generating offense. In a strange twist, the AlBrook catcher hurt his arm warming up and was lost for the game. AlBrook coach Damien Paulson told NSO, “Our starting catcher got injured warming up. That kind of got all the guys back on their heals.”

Bryce Karppinen and Alex Bober had the only hits for the Falcons. With the loss AlBrook remains above the .500 mark with a 3-2 record on the season

AlBrook will be back in action on Friday as they travel to Cook County to take on the Vikings. Cook-Orr will also be back at it on Friday as they host Chisholm
