Boys Basketball

Wrenshall 70 Cotton 37

Wrenshall broke away from a four point (28-24) lead at halftime to win this non-conference match up by 33 points. Aaron Gustafson scored 20 in the win for the Wrens. Dan Wood had a game high 21 for Cotton.

Girls Basketball

East Central 61 Cromwell 52


Britt Paige scored 22 points and had two teammates in double figures as the Eagles defeated the Cardinals in this section matchup. Makayleigh Cahoon led the Cardinals in scoring with 22 points on the night.

Esko 67 Eveleth-Gilbert 35

Nine Esko Eskomos scored Monday night in the thirty-two point win at Eveleth high school. The Eskomos were paced by Amanda Bergstedt, who finished with 20 points on the night. Megan Vidas led the Golden Bears with 14 points.

Albrook 63 FDL 16

Abigail Otis scored thirteen points in leading the Falcons to the non-conference win at home Monday night. Otis led eleven Falcons in scoring on the night. Krysta Reynolds led Fond du Lac in scoring with 6 points.

Ogilvie 47 Carlton 44

The hosting Lions held on for the three point win at home Monday night in this non-conference matchup in Ogilvie. The Lions snapped a six game losing streak and gained their fifth win of the season. Carlton falls to 9-15 overall.
