Cloquet Remains Unbeaten

The Cloquet Lumberjacks have been having themselves quite the season so far and they would continue their streak as they would take on the Minneapolis Edison Tommies in the first round of the Wood City Classic. The Lumberjacks would coast to the victory, winning 62-37.

The Lumberjacks got off to the 34-19 lead at the half and would also go on to outscore the Tommies in the second half, 28-18 en route to their 7th straight win, taking this game 62-37.

The Lumberjacks were lead by their big man, Adam Laine who totaled 28 points on the evening. Maxx Brenner added 9 points, Jake Bushey tallied 8, Nate Weets and Dillion Johnson scored 5 a piece, Gavin Takkunen scored 4, and Victor Foxx topped it off with 3 points.

Joseph Anderson would have 17 points and Chris Johnson would have 10 points for the Tommies in the loss.

Cloquet improves to a perfect 7-0 record on the year and will take on St. Paul Central Minutemen (4-3) this evening at 6:15 PM.
