MLA Girls Fall To Eveleth-Gilbert

The Moose Lake Area girls hockey team got a good look at a very good hockey team on Tuesday night when they fell to Eveleth-Gilbert 5-0.

The Golden Bears outshot the Rebels 44-18 for the game and went 3-for-4 on the power play on their way to the win.

Eveleth-Gilbert scored three times in the first period and twice in the final period to take the win.

Amanda Arbogast scored twice for E-G, while Jordana Turner, Kaylen Erchul and Emma Kishel all scored a single goal for the Golden Bears.

Vicky Fossland made all 18 saves in picking up the shut out in goal for E-G, while Rebels goalie Kaitlyn Greene had a busy night in making 39 saves on 44 shots.
