Boys Basketball

East Central 71 Carlton 44

East Central used a 16-0 run midway through the second half to put away the Bulldogs on Monday night in Carlton. Jake Klocke led all scorers with 20 points for the Eagles, while Allan Davis finished with 14 points for the Bulldogs.

Isle 71 Cromwell 62

The Cromwell Cardinals fell to the Isle Huskies on Monday night in a Section 5A boys basketball match-up. The game was part of a boys and girls doubleheader with Isle. Cromwell falls to 7-6 on the season.

AlBrook 46 Silver Bay 45

Kolten Karppinen’s 17 points helped the AlBrook Falcons come from behind to beat the Silver Bay Mariners Monday night at AlBrook High School. Henry Mitchell led all scorers with 18 points for Silver Bay.

Girls Basketball

Cherry 46 Carlton 41

Sarah Aili scored 22 points, including four three-pointers. However, it just wasn’t enough as the Bulldogs came up short Monday night at Cherry. Carlton led by four at halftime, but the Tigers outscored Carlton 24-15 in the second half for the win.

Esko 68 Hermantown 60

The Eskomos built a seven point lead at half and went on to win by eight at Hermantown on Monday night. Keely Deadrick finished with 23 points for Esko and Mary Neumann scored 16 points in the Hermantown loss.

AlBrook 71 Silver Bay 25

Abigail Otis scored a game high 19 points as the AlBrook Falcons win this non-conference game at home on Monday night. The Falcons cruised to a twenty-five point half time lead and never looked back, rolling to the big win.

Isle 52 Cromwell 50 OT
