Boys Basketball

AlBrook 63 Carlton 40

The AlBrook Falcons withstood a second half comeback by the Carlton Bulldogs in picking up this non-conference win at home Monday night. Peter Martin led all scorers on the night with 18 points, including four three-pointers. Jake Adams paced the Bulldogs with 12 points in the loss.

LCA 76 Wrenshall 40


Lakeview Christian Academy came away with a big section win on Monday night as they even their season record to 6-6. The Lions led by 12 at halftime and continued to roll to the win. Anders Broman led the Lions with 29 points in the win, while David Connor led the Wrens in scoring with 13 points.

Girls Basketball

Barnum 72 MLWR 29

The Barnum Bombers came out to avenge their home loss on Saturday by knocking off the Rebels by forty-three points Monday night in Willow River. Sarah Myhre had a game high of 23 points for Barnum, while Jessica Newman and Katie Myhre each had 17 points in the win. The Rebels were led by Taryn Davis with 8 points.

Esko 69 Virginia 28

The Esko Eskomos doubled up on the Blue Devils in the first half on Monday. Leading 34-17 at the break, they continued to roll in the second half to come up with a big section 7AA win. Savanna Trapp led all scorers with 14 points in addition to her 7 rebounds and 7 blocked shots for the Eskomos. Esko’s Keely Deadrick scored all of her 12 points from beyond the three point arc, going 4-5 from long range.

Orr 69 AlBrook 36


The Orr Braves picked up their eighth win of the season when they rolled over the Falcons at home on Monday night. The Braves jumped out early and never looked back in their 33 point win at home. Arianna Zapata led all scorers on the night, finishing with 17 points in the win.


Cromwell 54 McGregor 35

The Cromwell Cardinals took a four point halftime lead and then outscored the Mercuries by fifteen points in the second half to cruise to the 19 point win Monday night in McGregor. Makayleigh Cahoon led all scorers with 21 points in the Cromwell win.
