The Barnum Bombers remained perfect on the season Friday night as they beat the Wrenshall Wrens at home 68-49. The Bombers played solid defense and shot the ball well to maintain their lossless record.

“We played a pretty good game tonight,” head coach Richard Newman told Northland Sports Online. “The kids worked hard tonight…Each night it’s someone different that steps up and leads us in scoring and someone else in rebounding and assists. So it is a real team effort.”

Justin Neman led the Bombers in scoring with 16 points, Bobby Minkkinen added 12, Josh Hogan and Tayler Carlson both finished with 11, Andrew Youngren added 10, and Nick White and Jake Naslund each added 4 points in the Barnum win.

The Bombers now improve to 9-0 on the season and will face the Sebeka Trojans, ranked third in the state polls, on Saturday. The Wrenshall Wrens fall to 0-7 and face Lakeview Christian Academy at home on Monday night.
