Cloquet to Host Wood City Classic

The Cloquet boys and girls basketball team will host the annual Wood City Classic holiday tournament. The tournament will take place over December 29 and 30th with the home teams competing both days.

The tournament has had various teams the past several years, including last year’s girls 7AAAA champion St. Michael-Albertville. This year’s tournament will include some of the area’s top teams, combined with teams from the metro area. At the conclusion of the tournament, a boys and girls MVP and All-Tournament Team will be announced.

Tuesday December 29th 2009

2:00 PM St. Paul Humboldt vs Ashland (Girls)

4:00 PM Duluth Central vs Blake (Boys)

6:00 PM Cloquet vs East Central (Girls)

8:00 PM Cloquet vs St. Paul Humboldt (Boys)

Wednesday December 30th 2009

2:00 PM Ashland vs East Central (Girls)

4:00 PM St. Paul Humboldt vs Duluth Central (Boys)

6:00 PM St. Paul Humboldt vs Cloquet (Girls)

8:00 PM Blake vs Cloquet (Boys)
