MLA Boys Get 2-1 Comeback Win Over Mora

A strong third period lifted the Moose Lake Area boys hockey team to a 2-1 win over Mora-Hinckley-Finlayson on Tuesday night. The Rebels trailed 1-0 entering the final period, but managed a pair of goals to come back and take the win.

MHF scored the only goal of the second period on a Chuck Anderson marker with Derek Graves picking up the assist as the Mustangs took a 1-0 lead.

In the third period, the Rebels tied the game when Rejean Carlson scored an unassisted goal and then took the lead at 2-1 on a goal by Dylan Peterson with Carlson adding the assist.

Austin Lanoue had 16 saves for the Rebels while Cody Bjornson finished with 26 saves for MHF.
