Esko’s jumped out to an early 13-2 lead
against the Carlton Bulldogs and never looked back as the Eskomos stay perfect at 4-0 on the season. Amanda Bergstedt led all scorers with 20 points for Esko, Savanna Trapp poured in 16 and Keely Deadrick added 13 in the win. Lindsey Dahl-Holm led the 1-3 Bulldogs with 12 points.

MLWR 64 Wrenshall 0

The Rebels of Moose Lake-Willow River pitched a shutout Thursday in Wrenshall
by holding the Wrens scoreless on the night, a very rare occurrence in basketball. Peggy Stephan led the Rebels with 13 points on the night. The Rebels had thirteen players score in the victory.

McGregor 61 AlBrook 45

Sarah Sample scored a game high of 30 points on Thursday night as the visiting McGregor Mercuries downed the Falcons at home. McGregor led by three points at halftime and outscored the Falcons in the second half by thirteen points. Abigail Otis led AlBrook with 17 points in the loss.

Esko 52 Duluth Central 45

Adam Eskuri and Cody Townsend led the visiting Eskomos with 13 points each on Thursday as they downed the Trojans by seven. The Eskomos led by eight at halftime and continued to stay even in the second half for the win. Darcell Williams led the Trojans in scoring with a game high 16.

Hermantown 81 Eveleth-Gilbert 49

Cory Kucza scored a career high of 26 points in contributing to the Hermantown Hawks thirty-two point victory over the Golden Bears Thursday night. Colton Zacharias scored 17 points for the Hawks in the win. The Golden Bears were led by Andy Tikkanen, who finished with 13 points in the loss.
