Wrenshall Shuts Out Isle

 

 

The Wrenshall Wrens won their second straight game of the season and their second straight game in a row as the Wrens shut out the Isle Huskies Friday night in a great conference northern match-up.

 

 

Justin O’Connor started things off for the Wrens with a 57 yard touchdown run in the first quarter which gave the Wrens a 7-0 lead. That lead would hold through the rest of the first half and into the third quarter when Jared Kittle scored on a fumble return and the Wrens led 14-0 after three quarters of play.

 

 

Luke scored added two fourth quarter touchdown runs both of three yards to make the final a 28 point shutout victory, as the Wrens also picked up their second conference victory.

 

 

The Wrens move to 2-3 overall on the season and they will be home next Friday night when the Wrens host the Carlton Bulldogs in another conference battle.

 

 

The Huskies with the loss at home fall to 2-3 on the season and they will face the Cromwell Cardinals next Friday night in a great northern conference contest.
