Hawks Netters down Denfeld

The Hermantown volleyball team continued a strong start to the season with a 3-0 sweep of Denfeld in Hermantown on Thursday night.  Emily Neumann jump-started the Hawks offense with 41-set assists in the 25-11, 27-25 and 25-13 victory.

Neumann was able to spread the wealth in the Hawk’s offensive attack.  Those who benefited from Neumann’s setting were; Kaitlyn Paczynski with 15 kills, Paige Tomlin who had 11 kills and Carly Hansen who finished with eight kills.

In the back row the Hawks got a strong effort from Courtney Kaneski and Hailey Menzel who had 15 digs and 12 digs respectively.

The Hunters were led by Alexia Klass who had 18 set assists, Lexi Hill who had eight kills and Ashley Taipale who finished with six kills and 13 digs.  Ciara Taipale chipped in with 12 digs for Denfeld.
