ML-WR Volleyball Finishes Season With A Win

On Thursday afternoon the Moose Lake-Willow River volleyball team found out they would be the #5 seed in the Section 7AA volleyball playoffs. That means the Rebels will be on the road at Crosby-Ironton to open the playoffs on Wednesday night. It appeared as if the Rebels wanted to get a jump start for the playoffs in their final regular season match of the year, downing Wrenshall 25-11, 25-16 and 25-11.

Leading the way offensively for the Rebels was Sheenagh Caroline who crushed seven kills, had five ace serves and eight digs. Taryn Davis recorded five kills and four ace serves, Maddy Adamczak added 14 set assists and seven digs, while Katyln Stoinski provided four ace serves.

Wrenshall will also be on the road in the Section 7A volleyball playoffs. The Wrens received the #10 seed and will play at the #7 seed which is Lakeview Christian Academy.
