The AlBrook Falcons offense finally took flight last week after struggling the week prior. On Friday night, quarterback Cody Anderson again ignited the offense to a 52-22 win over the Cotton Cardinals.

Anderson connected for touchdown passes of 21 and 9-yards to Kolten and Bryce Karppinen respectively in the first quarter as the Falcons built a 16-0 lead. In fact, the 2-point conversions were also passes from Anderson to the Karppinens.

Cotton pulled to within 16-6 on a touchdown by Josiah Feth, but again the magic of Anderson came into play with a 9-yard pass to Kolten Karppinen and the two-point conversion came when Josh Johnson caught a pass from Bryce Karppinen.

In the second quarter, Anderson hit Tony Williams on a 17-yard scoring strike and Kolten Karppinen on an 8-yard pass as the lead built to 40-6 at halftime.

Anderson ended his night early in the third quarter when he launched a 41-yard bomb that was caught by Bryce Karppinen making it 46-6.

The Falcons managed one more score the third quarter by Josh Ekman on a 41-yard touchdown romp, while the Cards did manage a couple of late scores as well.

In all, Anderson threw 19 completions, six of which were for touchdowns and good for 299 yards in the air.
Kolten Karppinen caught eight passes for 120 yards and three touchdowns.
