WILLOW RIVER – Moose Lake-Willow RIver won it’s 26th straight regular season game with a convincing 41-26 win at home Friday night. It was also the Rebels’ 20th straight win at home.

Senior RB Austin Jacobson led MLWR with 255 rushing yards and three touchdowns. He scored all three touchdowns in a 28-point first quarter for the Rebels, which led 41-20 at the half.

Moose Lake-Willow River did not score in the second half, after the rain started coming down after halftime.

Rejean Carson rushed for 67 yards on 10 carries and one score for the Rebels, 4-0.

Defensively, Spencer Clough led the way with 16 tackles and added one interception.

Moose Lake-Willow River plays at 2-2 Deer River this Friday in a Great Polar Alliance White Division match up.
