Amanda Bergstedt has been on an offensive blitz over the past week. On Thursday afternoon the Esko-Carlton star forward stayed on pace with three more goals in the Eskomos 4-0 win over Duluth Marshall in girls soccer.

The three goals gives Bergstedt 12 goals in her last four games as the Eskomos have begun to surge ahead in local soccer circles.

Bergstedt took a feed from Kate Marquis in the fourth minute to open the scoring and then 12 minutes later she added another goal this time with Tess Mattson providing the assist. Before the first half ended Bergstedt slammed in another marker at 37 minute mark with Sarah Gustafson providing the assist.

The Eskomos final goal came from Hillary Anderson in the second half with Erika Olson assisting.

Emily Johnson made three saves for the Eskomos while Hilltopper goalie Becca Dugdale finished with 13 saves on 17 shots.

E-C is 7-3-1 on the season. The Eskomos next four games will be arguably the toughest part of their schedule, but should allow them to control their own destiny in the upcoming playoffs. Esko/Carlton travels to Two Harbors on Saturday, and then faces Hermantown, a much improved (8-2) Duluth Denfeld team, and top rival Cloquet at Home.
