Esko Tops Wrenshall Volleyball in 3 Games

Tuesday night’s volleyball match between Esko and Wrenshall featured two teams facing opposite ends of the spectrum. The Eskomos came into the match undefeated in the Polar League and sporting a 10-1 overall record, while the host Wrens came in at 1-7 overall and still looking for their first league win. In the end, the Eskomos were just too much for the Wrens to handle as Esko won going away 3-0.

Keely Deadrick ran the offense to near perfection in the Eskomos 25-10, 25-8 and 25-9 victory. From her setter position, Deadrick picked up 10 set assists, while Lydia Pelletier and Kayla Handevidt each recorded six kills for the Eskomos. Alyssa Bergstedt added three ace serves and Alyson Glumac also finished with two ace serves for Esko.

Esko is now 4-0 in the Polar League, while the Wrens drop to 0-3 in league play.
