Wrenshall Volleyball Gets First Win

After starting the season 0-5, the Wrenshall Wrens girls volleyball team put themselves into the win column Thursday night with a 3-1 win over Silver Bay.


The Wrens started out strong, getting the 25-12 win in the first game. In game two, a game that seemed like it would never end, the Wrens were put to the test and came up big with the 29-27 win.


Silver Bay worked its way back into the match with a 25-10 win in game three. Wrenshall however got back to business and took the match with a 25-20 game four win.


Leading the Wrens in victory was Dakota Timm with 15 kills and 2 blocks, while Jade Dahl had 20 digs. LaRena Timm pulled an amazing stat for the night with perfect 100% serving, going 23-23 with 7 ace serves. Sarah Starh led the Mariners with 24 digs and 3 ace serves.
