Esko Boys Win On The Raod At Denfeld

The Esko Eskomos used a big night by Kory Deadrick to rout Duluth Denfeld on the road 61-42 in high school boys basketball on Monday night in Duluth.

Deadrick nailed four 3-pointers, and finished with 32 points, to lead the Eskomos to the win, while Casey Staniger also had a big night for Esko with 21 points. Marc Peterson added four points for Esko and both Bobby Wright and Ben Hanson chipped in with two points apiece for the winners.

The Eskomos zipped out to an impressive 32-15 halftime lead and then hit the cruise control button for the remainder of the game.

Denfeld’s only player in double-digit scoring was Sergei Hanka with 10-points, while Steve Bradshaw added eight points.
