CLOQUET – Holy Angels scored a goal in the 48th minute to break a scoreless tie. The lone goal held up,
giving the Stars a 1-0 girls soccer victory over the host Lumberjacks on Saturday at Bromberg Field in Cloquet.

With the loss, Cloquet is now 3-2 on the season. They will take to the field again on Thursday, hosting the Hermantown Hawks in a much anticipated rematch of last season’s 7A Section Finals. The Hawks tasted the sweet victory last season when they won in a shootout, getting revenge from the Jacks, who have eliminated them in the two previous seasons.
