Homecoming week activities at Cloquet High School continued on Wednesday with an afternoon pep rally which featured lots of fun activities.

The rally included relay races of various sorts by the king and queen candidates and three powderfuff football games. Also included were a shaving cream/cheese puff contest and a dance contest by various sports teams and groups. Student council showcased a couple of individual performances to ride to a win in the contest.

All of the activities are possible because beginning this year Cloquet is hosting homecoming in the fall with coronation at halftime of Friday nights football game against Greenway-Nashwauk-Keewatin.

King candidates are Michael Baumgartner, Austin Hall, Luke Heine, Scott Imberg, Samuel Jorgenson, Alec Lamirande, Hans Peter, Aaron Peterson, Daniel Ritchie, and Eric Swenson.

Queen candidates include Johnna Bottila, Morgan Jensen, Mary Johnson, Maria Macaulay, Ann Muhvich, Abbi Parenteau, Kenzie Rathe, Carly Ritchie, Jonica Vork and Kristi Wappes

A tailgate party kicks things off at 5:00pm on Friday at Rol Bromberg Field in Cloquet.
