Cromwell Volleyball Improves To 2-1 On The Season

The Cromwell Cards rode a steady offense en-route to a 3-1 win over Mountain Iron-Buhl on Tuesday night. The Cards won by scores of; 25-20, 25-21, 17-25 and 26-24.

Christina Stenson provided the grit for the Cards by picking up 14 digs in the back row. Up front it was Brittany Johnson finishing with seven kills to lead the Cards at the net. The offense was run efficiently by Allie Cahoon who had 12 set assists.

MI-B had a strong game from Jersey Oie who had 11 set assists, seven digs and Allie Knuti who finished with seven kills.

The win improved the Cards record to 2-1 on the season with their only loss being a tough five game match against Hill City. Cromwell will be back in action on Thursday when they head north to take on Two Harbors.
