The Hermantown baseball team has pushed their winning streak to 15 games and host a gaudy 15-0 record for the season after defeating Eveleth-Gilbert 12-0 in five innings on Monday.

The five inning win marks the fifth time in the past 10 games that the Hawks have needed just five innings to pull out the win.

Jared Thomas was impressive again on the mound with a complete game three-hitter and seven strike outs.

The Hawks also had some strong offensive showings led by Matt Lord who had a pair of hits, including a double, and he finished with five RBIs. Kevin Stocke also had two hits and three RBIs, while Neal Pionk added two hits.

Brett Kivela, Daulton Everson and Levi Pasket each had a hit for the Golden Bears.

The Hawks will be back at it on Tuesday when they travel to Hibbing; then will face Proctor at home on Thursday.
