McCarthy and Lewis Named ESPN Players To Watch

Proctor seniors Ryan McCarthy and Jake Lewis have been named by ESPN as among the top players in Minnesota. McCarthy was selected as one of the top ten position players in the state, and Lewis was listed among the 30 “Other Top Players.”

McCarthy has also been tabbed by the Star Tribune’s Minnesota Baseball Hub as one of just 14 “Players to Watch” in Minn. With a solo home run, McCarthy tied the school record with eight career round trippers.

The only other player from the region to be mentioned on either list was Deer River’s left-handed pitcher Eythan Stangland, on the ESPN “Other Top Players” list.
