Section 7AA Football Playoff Preview

Section 7AA is about to kickoff their postseason, with first round games being played on October 23rd.

The Moose-Lake Willow River Rebels went 6-2 through the regular season, which was good enough to get them the top seed in the Section and a first round bye.

Receiving the second seed was Royalton (7-1). They will host the Eveleth Gilbert Golden Bears (3-5) in the first round.

The Aitkin Gobblers secured the third seed with a 5-3 record. They will host Crosby-Ironton (3-5) with a 6:00pm kickoff.

The fourth seeded Barnum Bombers (6-2) will host the fifth seeded Mesabi East Giants (6-2), who they beat 32-6 in the regular season.

The winners of the first round will move on to play on October 27th at the high seeds location.
