Section 5-9 Man Playoff Preview

Playoff football for Section 5-9 man will kickoff tomorrow night.

The South Ridge Panthers, who went 8-0 in the regular season, received the top seed in the section and a first round bye.

The second seeded Cromwell Cardinals, who also went 8-0, will host the seventh seeded McGregor Mercs (1-7) with kickoff at 7pm. The Cardinals won their regular season matchup 77-22.

The Carlton Bulldogs received the third seed with a 5-3 record. They will host their first playoff game since 2003 when they welcome the Hill-City Hornets (3-5).

Lastly, the fourth seeded Floodwood Polar Bears (5-3) will host the fifth seeded Isle Huskies (4-4). Kickoff will be at 7:00pm.

The winners of the first round will play on October 27th at the high seed. Both kickoffs will take place at 1:00pm.
