After a scoreless first quarter, the Esko Eskomos poured it on, scoring 14 points in the second quarter of action to take the lead and never look back, winning 33-0 over the Rangers.

Tyler Peterson got things going for Esko with a 7-yard touchdown run. Brenden Matteen then hauled in an 11-yard pass from Brendan Durand to make it a two-score lead.

Matteen continued to make things happen in the third quarter, returning a kick 85 yards to the end zone.

Peterson added his second rushing touchdown of the night on a 15-yard scamper. Matteen then followed that up with his own second touchdown of the night, courtesy of a 75-yard punt return late in the third quarter.

The fourth quarter would go scoreless, leading to a final of 33-0.

Esko advances to 7-1 on the year and hosts Mora Wednesday night as they look to add another win.

Crosby-Ironton falls to 2-5 on the season, and will look to bounce back Wednesday night, as they host Pine City at home.
