Lady Bulldogs Earn 3rd Seed

The No. 2 University of Minnesota Duluth found out Sunday night that it will host the No. 4/5 University of Minnesota in the 2017 NCAA Regionals at AMSOIL Arena on Saturday, March 11 at 2:30 p.m.

It marks not only a triumphant return for the Bulldogs into the NCAA tournament, where UMD has not been since the 2010-11 season, but as a NCAA regional host for the first time since 2009-10.

The Bulldogs are fresh off a Western Collegiate Hockey Association Final Face-Off championship game appearance after defeating the Gophers 2-1 in double overtime Saturday night.
