Hawks Take Coaches Classic

The Hermantown Hawks picked up their 4th straight victory enroute to a championship in the annual Esko Coaches Classic Holiday Tournament.

Hermantown defeated Hibbing 62-23 in the championship game to take the title.

The Hawks open the tournament with a 84-14 win over North Woods, and in the semi finals the Hawks bested Eveleth-Gilbert 62-20 in the semi finals.

Esko finished third with a 77-46 victory over Eveleth-Gilbert, and it was Barnum sneaking past Floodwood for the consolation title with a 33-31 win.
