Section 7AA Softball Playoffs Preview

With Section 7AA playoffs kicking off on May 24th, here are the first round match-ups which are taking place on May 24th.

In sub-section 1, the Esko Eskomos (12-5) drew the top seed, receiving a first round bye. They will play their first game on May 26th.

The Moose Lake Willow River Rebels (15-4) received the 2nd seed and will go to battle with the 7th seeded Pine City Dragons (3-13) at home with a start of 4:30pm.

The 3rd seeded Rush City Tigers (15-10 will take on the 6th seeded Crosby-Ironton Rangers (5-15) at home with first pitch at 4:30pm.

In the 4th seed vs 5th seed matchup, the Aitkin Gobblers (9-11) will take on the Mora Mustangs (6-13) at home.

In sub-section 2, the top seeded Virginia Bluedevils (10-8) will go head to head with the 8th seeded Eveleth-Gilbert Golden Bears (5-13), starting at 4:30pm.

Receiving the 2nd seed in 7AA, the International Falls Broncos (14-5) will host the Greenway Raiders (5-14).

The Two Harbors Agates (13-7), who received the 3rd seed, will welcome the 6th seeded Duluth Marshall Hilltoppers (7-13) to town on the 24th.

The 4th seeded Mesabi East Giants (10-7) will battle with the 5th seeded Proctor Rails (8-11) in a tough first round matchup.

The 2nd round games will all be played in Cohassett on May 26th.
