Eskomos Win 4th Straight 7AA Title

The Esko Eskomos have ruled 7AA for the past four seasons, after toppling Crosby-Ironton in the title game, 42-25, to make their 4th consecutive State Tournament appearance.

The Eskomos led 17-12 at halftime, but used tough defense throughout the second half to outscore Crosby-Ironton 25-13 to secure the 7AA title.

Adam Trapp propelled the way for the Eskomos on offense, notching a game high 14 points. Jaxson Turner followed with 10 points, while Isaac Blue and Camden Berger each scored 6. Alex Walther pitched in 5 and Quinn Fischer rounded it out with 1.

In the loss for Crosby-Ironton, Trey Jacobs had 10 points. Jack Siligen followed with 5 points, Ben Jordan chipped in 4, and Noah Gindorff and Evan Edmundson each had 3.

The Eskomos moves to 27-3 on the year and advance to the State Tournament and received the 3rd seed. They will match up with the Annandale Cardinals (25-5) at Williams Arena on Wednesday, March 9th. Tipoff will be at 8:00pm.
