CEC Loses Tight One To Hibbing-Chisholm

In the first period, it was Jake Bestul of Hibbing-Chisholm netting the first goal, as he scored at the 11:11 mark on the power play.

CEC would answer in the second period, as Dylan Johnson tied the game with a goal 3:25 into the period. Riley Versich would score (14:50) for Hibbing-Chisholm to retake the lead.

In the third period, the Blue Jackets would see one more goal, as Scott Perunovich scored at the 14:00 mark.

CEC’s Reid Davidson notched a goal on the power play at 16:37, but the comeback effort would fall short.

The final would be 3-2, in favor of the Blue Jackets

Eric Newman ended with 22 saves for the Lumberjacks, while Ryan Ullan compiled 20 saves for Hibbing-Chisholm.
