Forest Lake Erupts Past Lady Jacks

Forest Lake would get off to a blazing start, scoring four goals in the first period of play to help them coast to a 6-1 victory over the CEC Lumberjacks.

 

Starting things off for Forest Lake was Madi Nolan, as she scored at the 3:20 mark in the first period.

 

Kayla Kasel scored a few minutes after, at the 9:24 mark. Kasel would answer with another goal of her own at 11:47.

 

Bringing the lead to four goals was Kaitlyn VanTassel at 14:34 to end the first period.

 

The only goal to be scored in the second period of play would come from the Lumberjack’s Kayla Baker, as she scored her team’s lone goal at 6:55.

 

In the third, Madi Nolan would net her second goal of the game (11:54), and Brieja Parent scored to bring the final score to 6-1.

 

Kaylee Remington of Forest Lake had 15 saves, while Erin Genereau of CEC had 48.
