Rebels Fall to Blizzard

The Blizzard of WSFLG (Webster-Siren-Frederic-Luck-Grantsburg) knocked off the Moose Lake area Rebels by a score of 5-1 in a boys hockey match up Tuesday at Riverside Arena in Moose Lake.

The blizzard started fast picking up two first period goals as the led 2-0 after one period of play. WSFLG made it 3-0 ion the second before Bryceton Butkiewicz scored an even strength goal to make it 3-1 after two periods of play.

The Blizzard added two third period goals, but the story of the night was net minder Taran Wolds as he stopped the Rebels onslaught of shots on goal as he stopped 38 of the 39 shots he faced.

The Rebsla are back in action Thursday when they face Pine City.
