The Cloquet-Esko-Carlton Lumberjacks took the ice on the road when they went to take on Hayward-Ashland. The Lumberjacks would leave victorious, winning a 1-0 nail biter.

In the low scoring affair, it would be scoreless heading into the third period. In the third period, Kayla Baker found Taylor Nelson, who hit the back of the net 3:36 into the period to give the Lumberjacks the 1-0 lead and victory.

Erin Genereau stopped 29 shots in the shutout victory for the Jacks, while Lauren Tremplay  stopped 16 in the loss for Hayward-Ashland.

The Jacks move to 6-5-1 on the season and will look for another victory on December 28th when they travel to the Coon Rapids Invitational to take on International Falls.
