Moose Lake Falls To Legacy Christians Rally

After seeing a 2-2 tie after the first period of play, Legacy Christian would go on to take the game by a score of 7 goals to 4.

 

Devin Murphy struck first blood for Moose Lake, scoring in the first period at the 9:45 mark. Josiah Roen of Legacy Christian would answer, scoring at the 11:18 mark for the 1-1 tie.

 

Bryceton Butkiewicz would help Moose Lake retake the lead, only to have Colton Edgington tie it back up immediately after.

 

In the second period, Moose Lake would net two goals courtesy of Nick Wegge. Josiah Roen of Legacy Christian would also score his second goal in the second period, as it ended 4-3 in favor of the Rebels.

 

In the third, Legacy Christian would let loose, scoring four unanswered goals to secure the win.  The first goal would come from Jake Friedrich (6:22).

 

The second, and lead taking goal would be from Aaron Moots (8:20)

 

Also scoring was Zach Morse (12:49 pp), and Logan Pierro (12:58) to help secure the win.

 

Logan McNulty ended with 35 saves for the Rebels, while Nic Leibold finished with 16 for Legacy Christian.
