Denfeld Scrapes Past Hermantown

Marques Jones had 20 points as he led Duluth Denfeld to a 3-point victory over Hermantown Thursday night.

After holding a narrow 29-27 halftime lead, Duluth Denfeld buckled down to secure the victory, outscoring the Hawks by one point in the second half.

Jaaren Jorgenson chipped in 13 points for the Hunters, while Shane Yagoda had 11, Trevor Otteson added 10, Ben Gibson & Tyrese Barnes had 5, and Caleb Gibson totaled 4.

Thomas Madison had a nice performance for the Hawks, scoring 27 in the losing effort.

Denfeld improves to 3-4 overall, while Hermantown falls to 4-5 on the year.
