It was a seesaw ride for the Cloquet baseball team on Thursday afternoon at Ed Mettner Field in Cloquet. The Jacks held an early lead against Hibbing, only to see the Blue Jackets tie the game in the seventh inning before Cloquet scored the game winner in the bottom of the 8th inning to win 3-2.

Taylor Blundell had a strong game on the mound for the Jacks in giving up just two earned runs in 6 1/3 innings of work. Adam Hanson came on in the seventh inning to get the win after the Blue Jackets had tied the game.

Hanson and Kaleb Kadelbach doubled for the Jacks who managed just five hits in the game to nine for Hibbing.
