It was a long afternoon for the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton boys tennis team. The Jacks managed only one win against Grand Rapids/Greenway in a 6-1 loss and were swept by Hibbing.

The lone CEC win came from Christian Pritchett at #4 singles when he defeated Bruce Becker 6-3, 6-3.

Ryan Kedrowski, Tanner Webster and Ryan Lind, at #1, #2 and #3 singles respectively, all lost their matches against Grand Rapids/Greenway.

In doubles CEC did not notch a win. Sean Kedrowski and John Scheuer fell at #1 doubles by a score of 6-2, 2-6 and 6-3. Luke Heine and Josiah Sickler lost 7-5, 6-4 to their opponents and at #3 doubles the CEC duo of Ryan Willgohs and Joey Gotchnik dropped a 6-2, 6-3 decision to Nick Theis and Colton Anderson.
