CEC Boys Win Big in Make-Up Match Against Ashland

In a match that was scheduled, re-scheduled and then re-scheduled again, CEC swept all the doubles matches and nearly swept the entire singles line up as well in picking up a 6-1 victory over Ashland in boys tennis on Friday.

Tanner Webster and Ryan Kedrowski won at #1 doubles by scores of 6-0, 6-0 over Tom Barbon and Gene Newman. Josiah Sickler and Cameron Halfrisch downed Tray Hull and Tom Whiting 6-4, 6-1 at number two doubles for CEC and at #3 doubles it was the CEC team of Sam Jorgenson and Nick Tomhave beating Luke Steingel and Jon Lewis 6-0 and 6-1.

The Jacks were also impressive in singles play. John Scheuer won at #1 singles by beating Vinson tanner, Ryan Lind won at #2 singles over Sean Dickenson and it was Ryan Willgohs taking #4 singles over Alex Wilson. The lone CEC loss was at #3 singles when Chaise Pritchett fell to Robert Quinlan 6-2, 7-5.
